Green Car Eco Journey

To sign up for a tour, please .
This is your chance to find out what is available, in Washington State, in the way of electric, bio-diesel, and hybrid cars. It’s one thing to go to a show and see someone else’s green car, but to see one that you could actually own is a whole other thing.
This is a great tour for everyone, but especially for graduates who will be receiving a car in the near future, and for the parents who will be giving them that car. If you’re going to buy a car, why not make it a green car?
Olympia, Spokane, Seattle, Vancouver
Electric, Biodiesel, Hybrids, Fuel Cell
Tango, Prius, Zap, Smart, Myers, Dynasty, ZENN

The Green Car Eco Journey can schedule this tour from May through September.

Itinerary:
On the first day of the Green Car Journey, we travel from Olympia to Spokane where the Tango is made. The Tango is owned by George Clooney, Sergey Brin (Google co-founder), and others.
From Spokane, we head to Seattle to visit the Green Car Company and MC Electric Vehicles. At the Green Car Company, owner Greg Rock will teach "Transportation 101". The Green Car Company has Volvos and Mercedes that run on biodiesel. They also have ultra-efficient Smart Cars, and Zap Cars and Bikes. If we’re lucky, we’ll get to see a Myers electric car, which is freeway capable, as is the Tango. MC Electric Vehicles, sells various brands of neighborhood electric vehicles, including IT by Dynasty, ZENN, and EXV.
From Seattle, we’ll go to Vancouver to see some fuel cell demos. Then we’ll head back to Olympia.
For more information about these various cars, visit The Commuter.

Yellow Bear Journeys is also now offering a one-day version of the Green Car Tour. We’ll visit Green Transportation Companies in Olympia, WA, then head on up to Seattle to visit a few more. On the way to Seattle, we’ll discuss your Green Transportation choices. The cost for this one-day version is $100/person.

This tour will include a Celebration, and an Awakening. During the Awakening, you’ll have the opportunity to share the next step you now plan to take, whether it’s for the environment, people, spiritual, education, the arts, or creativity. The car companies that we visit on this tour hope the next step you take will be to purchase a green car :)
This tour is open to all ages. Children must be accompanied and supervised by adults. The most strenuous activity we’ll be doing is walking and spending long hours on a bus. This tour is limited to 30 people.
