Take Your Next Step

Come, get your feet wet!

👣

Follow your own unique spiritual path. Turn your world right-side up. Live your life as you were meant to live it. Whether that&';s becoming Best Friends with the Wind, Falling in Love with the Wind, Stepping into Paradise, Dancing in Harmony with the Wind, or something totally different.
We find that the beach is a great place to start or continue this transition. It could be because the beach is a transition point between land and water. It could be that we immensely enjoy the beach. Or it could be that the beach is a great place to get your feet wet. So, choose a beach. Better yet, choose four &n-; one near your, one within 3 hrs of Olympia, WA, one in your favorite place, and one in Hawaii &n-; our favorite place.

Oh gurgling water of the stream, still me till I no longer want to scream
Oh flaming fire that warms my bones, soothe me till I no longer want to moan
Oh mossy side of mountain firm, call me till I no longer want to squirm

Take me beyond where the Midnight meets the Dawn
Take me to Heaven and back

Dale Finds Home
Once upon a time there was a little boy named Dale. Dale was trying to find home. He knew where home was, even though he couldn&';t articulate it. He knew he would recognize home when he arrived.
The time Dale had spent away from home had been enjoyable. But now it was time to return home. Home to a place he had never been. Home to a place he had always been. A place where nothing was demanded of him. He could be totally himself. He could reach for the stars and touch them. Nothing could stop him from doing what he really wanted to do &n-; which was to make people happy. A place where he could be deep. Have deep roots and deep friendships.
Ah, but where was home? Dale thought it was in this direction, so off he went. Dale walked and walked and walked. Sometimes he rode his bike. Sometimes he rolled down hills. Sometimes he sledded down them.
After a long time, Dale arrived at the ocean. Dale&';s home was beyond the ocean. Sure he could swim and get there. Dale was a good swimmer. But he would be all wet and worn out when he got home, and he hadn&';t brought a towel with him. Not even a little one. What Dale needed to do was to walk across the water. That would get him home safe and sound. Safe and sound at last!
But Dale didn&';t know how to walk on water.
So he just tried. The first few steps were easy. But then each progressive step got harder and harder and harder. Finally Dale stopped. He wasn&';t going to get home at this rate. Dale thought about turning around, but he had come this far.
Then Dale saw his friend Yellow Bear, walking on the water. But Yellow Bear was cheating, he wasn&';t actually walking on the water. Every time Yellow Bear took a step, his foot sank to his calf. Dale realized that the easiest way to walk on water was to get his feet wet. Oh happy feet &n-; bare and wet!
Dale quickly caught up to Yellow Bear. They both walked along towards Dale&';s home. Eventually there was a canoe beside them. They jumped in. And with Yellow Bear paddling in the back of the canoe, they arrived at Dale&';s island home in no time.
